In the spring of 2009, God stirred the hearts of two families to start a Bible Study in their homes in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  Little did they know what God was about to do.

During this same time, God had been stirring Pastor Jarrod and his wife Sara’s heart to start a Reformed Southern Baptist Church in Oklahoma.  Through several God-ordained conversations and meetings, the 3 families met and knew what God was calling them to do…plant a church!

They all shared their vision of what God had laid on their hearts.  The common goal was that each wanted to see a church started where the Word of God was proclaimed as the supreme authority in all matters of church life, and where God’s glory would be the chief end of everything they did.  Having shared and prayed with one another, they all agreed that God was calling them to plant what is now known as Grace Church.

In May of 2009, Grace Church was born and Pastor Jarrod and his family moved to Sallisaw shortly after.  After much prayer, God brought another family on board, and since then others have been added to Grace Church. Today, we are still in awe of what God is accomplishing here, and we greatly anticipate what God will do in the lives of people as we proclaim the powerful Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ at Grace Church, throughout our community, and beyond.
